Our training course has been designed by John Johnson, a curriculum developer and certified military instructor who has specialized in flying and teaching unmanned aircraft since 1988. He has used his knowledge and experience to develop a course that targets exactly what you need to start flying safely, and keep flying with a greater chance for success. This course will guide you through several detailed subjects to include regulations, insurance, basic flight principals, aircraft components, theory of operation and flight procedures.
This training course is preparing you to fly an unmanned aircraft as a hobbyist for recreational purposes. You will be paired up with an instructor for your flight training. Upon completion of your training, you will be ready to continue your flight training on your own to gain critical flight experience. But don’t worry, you will always have a support group at My Drone School to answer your questions and concerns, and keep you informed of changes as they apply to commercial unmanned aviation operations.
